Since summer 2025, the newly designed "Path of the Senses" in the picturesque fields of Virgen invites you to experience the nature of the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern with all your senses. The completely renovated adventure trail combines playful learning, mindful perception of nature and relaxation in a unique way.
At 16 interactive stations, young and old explorers can experience sight, hearing, smell and touch in a special way. Topics such as the meaning of life, balance and the water cycle are vividly and vividly conveyed. A water playground invites children to explore and play, while impressive images of nature with a regional connection inspire them in the landscape cinema.
Children are accompanied by the friendly butterfly "Isi", who guides them along the way with exciting stories and little adventures. With the sensory explorer pass, you can solve exciting puzzles together with Isi. Finally, in the rustic herb kitchen in a traditional Schupfe hut, visitors can experience how regionality and sustainability can be experienced through smell and taste.
